I have the SPR-S mount for my Leupold scope....I have it on pretty tight but after about 5-10 rounds the front latch starts to move...(on a .223)
It consistenly opens up just a tad...about 10degrees and stops...I guess I got to tighten it more...My fingers are hurting as it is to remove it.

You want to adjust the nut on the lever with the supplied wrench so that when you start to close the lever, it begins making tension with the receiver at 45 degrees out from closed. We have not had issues with them loosening. After you have properly tightened the levers, grab the mount and try to move it back and forth. No movement, then you are good to go.
If you have any questions, call me.
Thanks
Austin.

An addendum to your instructions Austin. If you have to use blunt force to push the lever closed, it is too tight!

I finally fabbed up a little rubber coated prybar to open LT levers of folks who think tension means 50 pounds of resistance.

I've had the various mounts from Larue for a few years now and I know how they should be tightened.....But I have no explaination why it comes loose....And its real tight...Like I said it only comes loose a few degrees

I knew a defective product would one day escape the lair of LaRue. I believe I have seen the day.

I'd frame the example, proving that no one is perfect.

My bet is that the mount is fine and there is something wrong with the upper.

Have you tried the mount in a different location on the picatinny rail, maybe one slot forward or back?

Please keep us informed of the outcome.

What does the upper look like under where the LaRue mount contacts the rail?  Is it uniform?

Have you moved the LaRue mount to a different "address" and tried to duplicate it?

I've had this mount on several rifles but has happend on my old RRA upper and now on my new Vltor Mur upper... Dont get me wrong..the mount works great but I keep checking the levers and have to push em back in....but remember its just alittle movment,,,,not like its completely comming unlocked...

Also..not that I care....its really marring up(not gong thru the anno)..or should I say really burnishing the anno on my Vltor....just FYI...

I love the mount...its been used to go from AR15s to AR10s through 5 rifles and never failed but this latest issue kinda makes me go hmmmmmm.....
