Im going to buy a Super Sniper scope for my AR and was wondering whether i needed the standard LT-104 or the SPR-E mount. I use a magpul CTR stock and i have a YHM flip up iron sight which still tall when its folded

Any pics would be great

Thanks

I just got a SS in yesterday (20x), and an SPR-E in today. Based on pics on the SWFA page for the SS, I thought the scope would sit too far back, so I got the extended mount. Unfortunately, I appear to have picked the wrong one. The front of the scope comes very close to the front sight post (16" carbine), and even when I put the mount all the way to the rear on my upper, I have to lean forward to get a sight picture. I could bring it back more, but then the mount latches are going to get in the way of the charging handle latch.

I don't have a digital camera here, so I can't take any pictures for you. Nonetheless, I'd get the standard LT-104.

First thank you for the info I'll get the standard mount.

I would talk to the guys from larue about switching the mount out. They have great customers service.

Pics would be great also to see how high it sits. My other worry is if it will clear my flip-up rear sight.
