I got a DPMS LR.308 and I would like to find a gunsmith/company that is making a Left Hand Charging handle for it. I would like to have it so that does not ride the bolt. I have called JP and American Spirit , dead ends.

Find a local machine shop that has carbide tip components:
1. Have them drill out a travel channel on the upper receiver 2. Drill Hole into Bolt and Thread 3. Create Screw-In Handle 4. Profit??? People seem to be under the misconception that charging handles on the left or right side are some scientific formula. Any machine shop worth anything should be able to do this for you. And for around $100. Are you really intent on spending $700ish on an aftermarket upper receiver just to have a side charging handle? |

where did 700 come in at ?? Yes I know that machine shop can do it,, But who is doing them that is the real question I know what the web says , but you call and ask questions you get a diff. awser over the phone. The builds are for thier upper not for DPMs's |
