| I just recently installed a hogue grip on my ar15 and now the safety select gets in the way of my trigger finger, I'm a lefty. I was wondering if I bought a left handed selector switch would it work, or do you need the notches on the right side of the lower. And if that would not work i guess I could buy the ambi selector and shave down the right side a little . |

what notches on the right side of the lower are you questioning that you need?
a bad ambi selector has 5 different combinations you can get... shorty on the left side by your trigger finger, and normal one on the right side badass selector and if you were shaving one... wouldnt you be shaving the left side? |

I can second the BAD selector. I never liked a ambi selector until I tried one of the BAD's. I run long fat on my strong side and short fat on my weak. But you can change out the levers to whatever combination you like. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I'm a lefty also. I bought one of the "cheap" ambi-selectors and was very disappointed. Total waist of money. As another poster suggested, http://www.battlearmsdevelopment.com/badass.php This is a very high quality selector that you can make suit your needs. Great customer service and supporter here. You won't be sorry. That is all. |

Thank you guys We now have 6 levers and an end cap, with the 7th lever to arrive later this year. When it does, we will have 8 modular attachments for our modular selector. Of these 8, the standard, short, and thin levers were of the original design, the rest is all direct result of user input. The end cap does couple of things: 1. It makes the selector into a rapidly reversible selector (right side only or left side only) without having to disassemble the pistol grip and remove the detent and detent spring. Simply unscrew a lever and replace it with the end cap. 2. It turns the selector into a convertible (fully ambidextrous as designed, or a single lever selector) We have a free lever exchange program. Regardless where the selector was purchased, should you want to try another lever that may work better for you, we will ship you the lever to try out before you return yours to us, that way you have a fully functional ambi selector at all times, and if you'll have time to experiment with the new lever to decide if it's in fact better for you. The decision for lever configuration is not final at the time of purchase, we have shipped several different levers to the same customers until they have found what worked best for them. There is no limit on how many levers you can exchange or time frame in which to return your old levers. The free lever exchange program is an extension of the fully modular concept. As we make improvements and continue development on the selectors, our user base is able to benefit from these efforts easily because the selector is modular |
