I have an extra Noveske bolt leftover from my last build... my question is does this bolt need to be paired with a specific bolt carrier or can it go with anything? Say I build a Spikes next... Can I just get a spikes carried to go with it? Thanks!

But you should check headspace with that bolt on the barrel you end up using before shooting.

How do I check and correct the headspace?

Hide it NOW.... or it will turn into another rifle build!

You check with Go and No-go headspace gages.
Bolts have .003” tolerance range, so if it is close you might be able to swap bolts and pass.
Headspace can be fixed depending on what is off, but would likely cost more than it is worth to fix it.
I check headspace before installing the barrel and would send one back that was out.

Did you buy a Noveske barrel?  If so, was that the headspaced bolt that you bundled with it?
