Not to start another thread about the AWB sunset but would it be leagal for me to own preban parts before the AWB sunset and then, provided there is no new legislation, install them once the ban sunsets?

No you cant. With full auto sears and such they serve no other purpose so you can be charged. Preban parts could be used for that pump action upper your going to buy or that Fab 10 lower etc. I would go as far to say that you can have a preban complete upper and post ban lower with collapsing stock and your OK so long as you dont put them together.
