| What are the laws in regards to NJ? Can I purchase 20 and 30 round mags? 10 rounders on the EE seem few and far between. Is this because I can get high cap pre-ban mags in NJ? I can take a drive to PA and pick up anything I want, just want to be on the level. Sorry if this issue has been addressed before, but I can’t find any history of this topic. Thanks in advance for any info. |

You can purchase mags of any quantity out of state, or purchase mags of up to 15-round capacity in-state. HOWEVER, the mag only has to be TEMPORARILY blocked to 15 rounds to be legal, and sometimes you can get mag sellers nice enough to block them for you, so that they can legally be sent to you. Some of the PRNJ folks can tell you how best to block your mags. Check out the Hometown forums. -Troy |

Rincon_11, you should be able to order 10 round magazines direct from the OEMs. They are still legal to make new. Why doesn't someone just make a green follower with an extra long center post that can be trimmed? I see a lot of people asking to block mags, or looking to make 5 round mags for hunting. |
