| I'll be cutting some foam and customizing some cases in the near future, so I've been reading through this thread. I'll post some pictures of the finished products when I'm done, but in the meantime I figured I'd bump this thread so it doesn't slip away and get archived. Lots of good info and ideas here! |

I also have a bayonet and apple air tag on it. I don't really carry it around but had it for the past 10 years.

Thinking about a case that is more square and deep. I would make slots in the foam for uppers or lowers, separate. This way I could carry different ARs while still offering some capture of the pieces. I think I need at least 27" long and 7" deep. Anyone do something like this? |

I'm leaning towards the 1615 but laying the guns in the case more traditionally. Upright just doesn't work well for keeping parts off each other. I'm leaning this way vs a traditional gun case due to not needing the length but wanting enough depth for 3-4 rifles. |

Basically 28.5x17.5x10.5. Sounds perfect based on your requested measurements. |

Actually ended up with an Air 1615. I ended up not putting stuff in vertical, although I'm still considering options. Loaded traditionally, i can run two ARs, my Tavor and two pistols, along with some accessories. It's heavy but manageable |
