I have a question on an install.  I bought a Levang Linear compensator about 3 weeks ago and am finally getting to installing it on my rifle.  I tried installing it last night but it wasn't going on very easily.  It would start threading just fine but after about 5 turns, it became very difficult to turn.  The compensator doesn't have anything to put a wrench on like the traditional compensators.  It definately needs to thread further because the origonal compensator fits flush against a thick washer at the end of the threads.

I have a 16" pencil barrel .223 with a standard military compensator on it currently.

thanks

Tried lubing the threads,
Short of that, get the supplier on the phone since the brakes threads may not have been produced correctly.
