I searched - I didn't get anything that would help.
I have a new TROMIX lower, Bushy-innards and 7" upper (AOW).
It cycles and fires fine - when it fires.
3 out of 4 are light-primer strikes!  What gives?

I haven't been able to see evidence of what or where, but something must
be impeding the hammer, no?  The firing pin and all look good.

I've thought of swapping out parts with known-working units,
but since headspace can be an issue, I wanted to wait until last to do that
and solicit some ideas here first.  Thanks.

Hammer spring legs sitting on top/sides of the trigger pin, and not of the bottom of the receiver floor?

The J spring in the hammer is retained inside the hammer, and not catching the front of the receiver as it works out of the hammer?

The firing pin extrusion out of the bolt face when pressed tight against the back of the bolt is within the spec'd .032/.038 range?

You haven't installed a trigger stop that is limiting the rearward movement of the trigger, therefore catching the hammer bottom cam and slowing the hammer down before it strikes the firing pin?

You have head spaced the upper, and comfirmed that the bolt is fully locking up?  A bolt partial unlocked will cam the carrier back, which limits/stops the firing pin from exstending fully forward (firing pin strikes the back of the carrier, instead of striking the back of the bolt rear stop collar).

Wonderful advice - I'll check on these things at once.  Thanks.
