Im really confused by your mag choice given you are running a bipod. Are you using it in an unconventional way?

I don't use the Bipod when I hog hunt so it shouldn't interfere. The 42 round magazine is about 3" longer than my 30 round magazines and might be a problem bench shooting. But then again I could just extend the bipod legs out to fix that. Now I did see one that I liked better. It was a 60 round magazine that was the same length as a 30 but it widened out below the receiver to accommodate rounds side by side. I've never seen one like that. It was aluminum and it was at ASC. 60 rounds and up magazines start to get heavy.

I'm going to say that multi-mode lights mounted on a rifle are a bad idea unless the on/off switch is different from mode selection. You need to know what the light is going to do when you turn it on and it has to do the same thing every time your press that button.

I'm just kinda experimenting with the light setup. I'm totally open to suggestions.
