Point me in the direction of a reliable lightweight upper. I just sold my .50 BMG upper & am going clear to the other end of the spectrum , I have an A@ H-bar already & 16" del-ton build, but I keep a dedicated supressor on thier & it's heavier than the Colt! Just want a simple grab & go rifle that works. Still thinking A@ but my eyes arent getting any younger.
Been happy w/ the del-to but I hear they are waaay behind. Thoughts? |
| Try here. Had mine in 3 business days. http://www.m-aparts.com/products.asp?catId=80&subOne=304&subTwo=329 |

I had then Mark I. Very accurate & no problems whatsoever. I would reccomend.
They got some bad press at first because guys sent $$ & it took awhile to get thier gun. I'ts a one man shop so I kind of expected it. The only issue w/ the early guns was w/ some surplus or hot ammo. You may experience some sticking, A light tap w/ a wooden dowel down the bbl fixed this. I think he chaged something on the lugs on the later versions to improve extraction. I would buy one again. Good company & excellent product for the $$$. I wouldn't shy away from another MK I even. I just found myself not using the thing at all. |
| PKFirearms has a Rock River Arms 16" Midlength Lightweight upper complete in stock. They are $675 because they come with the Dominator II mount and rear BUIS. If you call PK they might remove it for you and sell it to you for the same price they are selling their RRA normal 16" Midlength right now, which is $515. |

Good to know, I may acquire one next year if I have enough pennies saved up
