Closing in on my build, and after an amazing early bday gift from my gf (MK2 rail) I need a gas block and tube to get the upper closer to completion. I looked at the Geissele Super Gas Block, but it appears to be pinned. Would this require me drilling the barrel? My Mega barrel isn't dimpled for set screws or for a pin. Who else makes a quality nitride gas block? I have a black nitride barrel, and want to stay with a black block that will match as it will be visible.

Thanks in advance.

Your best bet is either a clamp on or a professional with the ability handle the job of dimpling and/or pinning.  That black nitride stuff is very hard.

That's kind of where I'm at. Too much money to be lost from a mistake.

The Geissele is good, just have a good gunsmith pin the block.

The Geisselle block is set screw OR pinned OR both.
