Can you guys offer tips on loaded mag storage? I currently have mine on shelves in my safe, but that space is gonna be needed soon enough for some more pistols. Is it true that Mk. 19 cans work well? If so, how many AR and AK mags can fit? I don't want to use .50 cal cans because they are too small and I use them for ammo storage. Thanks

Saw cans. They are a tad wider and a tad taller than a 50 can. They hold 24 loaded mags standing upright and ready to go.

Great, I'll have to look into those. Do you know how well they work with Magpul Ranger Plates? I have these on all my mags...

The tall 50's would be fine with the Magpuls;

3 layers of 20rd boxes on bottom

Standard 30rd mags, no magpuls

Level with the top

Oops, one 20 rd mag slipped in there

This is my range box. You could leave out one or all of the boxed ammo for the magpuls to fit in on the mag.
