With all the talk about Red or Blue Loctite, what should I use for my Troy sights.... Blue correct?

   Thanks

I've got 4 types on my bench.  Red, Blue, Green, and Purple.

Red-for stuff that you never ever want to remove...almost never used.

Blue-Used by the boatload for just about everything.  It holds items well, but still allows for them to be removed if needed.  If the parts are properly cleaned with something like acetone I've never had anything come lose when I didn't want it to.

Green-seldom used, but it's supposed to seep into the threads after 2 items are already put together.  I honestly don't know why I've got it, but I do.

Purple-Light hold.  I use it for stuff like the handguard where it screws on the barrel nut on a freefloated forend.  Actually, that's all that I've ever used it for.

So to answer your question, yes, blue is correct.
