| All I can find for weapons lights with strobes, are lights that dont turn on right to strobe. What I mean is, they all turn on solid 1st, then you some how, one way or another, switch to strobe. Im looking for one that turns right on to strobe. And, what would be even better is if it had some sort of momentary strobe, like 2 sec-5 sec, then off. |

I have one of these and it has a full ON and a programmable mode that can be programmed to strobe. You set the mode by fully tightening the head or loosening it ~1/4 turn so you can go directly into either mode and it is fairly easy to switch between them. The down side is it has a bigger reflector but it is bright. One day I plan on getting one of these to try out. It should be able to go into strobe, hi, med or low straight from off and is a smaller light but still is bright. On a side note these 2 lights and a couple others by Jetbeam have the same tailcap threads as Surefire so you can use an XM tailcap. The only downside to the second one I see is you could have it set on one of the modes and the selector ring could possibly get turned then when you go to use it it may be in a different mode than you wanted.
