I have 2 lowers, one is a BCM with USGI trigger and one is LMT with LMT 2 stage. The problem with the LMT is that it has a longer reset vs. the USGI and sometimes i miss a pull because of the longer reset. I thinking about getting a SPIKE NIB battle trigger to replace it. Any suggestions for a trigger with a short reset?

Not looking for any super triggers like Geissele, just need a std single stage with short reset.

Thanks

If you're having difficulty switching between triggers why don't you save yourself the $$ and just get another $20 GI style trigger. They'll both be OK single stage triggers, you won't have to spend extra for the Spikes, no worries adjusting to the feel of each trigger.

or you can just put Geissele SSAs in all of your guns and call it a day......

My LMT came with a 2 stage trigger also
I also have another M4 with the regular trigger
Both M4`s

I would just get the regular trigger. Unless you plan on shooting long range

Because that wouldn't be cool.  J/K.

Very good advice IMO.  For most people, their trigger is not their accuracy limiting item.

If you want a two stage, definitely one of the cheaper geisseles. I have a high speed service rifle trigger in my competition rifle and may very well add one of the cheaper ones to my self defense/3-gun rifle when funds allow.

Save a few bucks and pick up the Wilson Combat TTU....very quick reset! I have a TTU-3Gun in one of my rifles and it is simply amazing.

I just dropped a Spike's Enhanced FCG into my middie.  Very little take up, smoothe, and slightly less pull than the RRA FCG that I had.  I'm also using KNS pins.  I like it, especially for the price.  Of course, YMMV.  In the future when the funds are available, Geissele S3G will be installed.

The ST Battle Trigger is a nickel boron coated standard single stage trigger.  It'll have the same reset, but operation is smooth and crisp.  If you end up getting one, you will not be disappointed.

I actually shot a buddy's rifle and he has the ST Nickel Boron Trigger with a Yellow JP spring and I was pretty impressed with the clean break (4.5LBS) and reset was about the same. Definitely better than the standard GI triggers I have in my rifles. While not as good as a Geissele, it's a financially cheaper alternative IMO. I'm going to be setting a few of my rifles up the same way.

I have an Accuracy Speaks single stage trigger in my Denny's Operator 16" midlength. I chose it specifically for it's short reset and its lack of set screws to get out of adjustment. It's 3.5lbs. , breaks very clean and handles rapid fire well. It makes it easier to make double and triple taps. Derrick Martin is a combat veteran, he knows what makes a good combat type trigger.

i'm glad you guys are having great luck with the Spikes Battle trigger, mine was rough and took hundred's of rounds to smooth out. i was disappointed, but it's has become a good trigger, much better than stock. i'm looking to update all my rifles to Geissele assemblies as side work allows. i shot a rifle with a Geissele 3 gun trigger, man that trigger was pure sex
