It would have more value in a ban state, like NY, if it was mfg. before September of 1994.

Yup. If it's a pre-AWB rfile, it is worth more in the states where the AWB was passed as a state law.

You could help a brother out and trade me for a newer bushy lower
or look around in the EE for the going rates, seems to be around $600 and up for good preban lowers.

Nice looking rifle. Looks like the lower has the previously famous purple tint. I always liked that configuration of carbine.
