| While I know low power variable scopes are not optimal for CQB in comparison to red dots. I am curious as to how effective they are for CQB, can it be used successfully? |

To clarify... I am looking at swfa 1-4 or 1-6 if i can afford it. I am just trying to decide if I would need an offset site set up or something extra for CQB style shooting of if the swfa scope would work You don't need offsets on a scope that goes down to 1x. I run a PA 1x4 on my .22, at 1x it's effectively just a dot sight. |
| Well you can always get an offset down the road if you decide its worth it to you. FWIW, Im a big fan of the SWFA 1-4 and have a 1-6 on order. With the 1-4 I never felt the need for an additional offset cq sight/irons (mostly 3gun here), but I understand some guys do. |
