I found a local guy with a parts kits he wants to sell.  He bought it to complete a stripped lower but never got around to doing it.
Anyway, the parts kit is in a sealed pastic bag.  The only markings on the bag read:
"Yellow River  lower parts kit"
I have never heard of Yellow river.  Has anyone heard of or used a Yellow River parts kit?
Any input/information on this parts kit would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
KW

Okay, I have talked to the owner and you are correct.  The correct name is Yellow Tavern.  I still don't know anything about the parts or the company.
Are these parts any good?

I've not seen any "yellow tavern" parts. But, there is a "Yellow Tavern Custom Shoppe" and here's it's website. http://www.tti-intl.com/

They have an interesting AR15 section, they make the claim that they do government contracts, soooooo....

*shrugs*

Anyone?????

Brownells sells quite a bit of Yellow Tavern parts, mostly springs.  I have used their hammer and trigger springs before and found them to be of very good quality.  I only wish they would not coat their reduced power springs with that yellow finish as it flakes off and makes a bit of a mess in the lower.  No big deal, but I still wish they didn't do that.  It has been my experience that if Brownell's sells it, it is generally of pretty good quality.  Since YT says that all of their parts are mil-spec I suspect they are of very good quality and should make for a fine build.
