In lieu of getting an engraving done, how well do these vinyl decals hold up? I know it won't be as good as engraving, but would anyone be the wiser?

Example

For around $5, I want to try it, but I hope to stay away from the "tacky" spectrum

I wasn't going for the Bio-Hazard exactly, just wondering if they are durable/do they look legit..generally speaking.

They look like a sticker on your gun, and as far as durability goes, that sort of depends on you and how you care for your gun as well as how much "abuse" you put it through.

FWIW I'd probably skip the sticker, get a stencil and paint it on if you're wanting to do this sort of thing.  Or pony up the money and have the lower engraved with whatever it is you are wanting to put on there.

Sounds good, I've decided on a stencil and some white Plasti-dip.

put them on then use blood red rattle can paint over it.. then remove it to give you your effect...

dont put stickers on a rifle.. (unless you're building it for a 10 year old girl....)
