| Maybe this topic has been covered before, but without any "search" capabilities, I though someone may know of links or have it archived. Anyways, I would like to know the advantages and disadvantages of the various materials used in casting or forged lowers (ie. COPPER / BERRILIUM,ALUMINUM / BRONZE,TITANIUM,,410 STAINLESS STEEL,CMM"CERAMIC MATRIX METAL",356 ( T6 ) ALUMINUM GRADE #1, and PRE-COATED CMM 356 -T6 ALUMINUM). Also, with pre-coated CMM, wouldn't that wear away if you're machining an 80% receiver? Thanks for your help! |
