I was talking guns with my boss a couple days back and told him I'm really into ARs. He told me that he was talked into buying a lower before the ban in 94, but he is not really into them and has done nothing with it. I told him I'd like to look at it sometime since he didn't even know what brand it was. Fast forward a few days and he brings this in and tells me I can have it.

Nice pick up indeed sir! Now do the right thing and trade it to some guy behind "enemy lines" for 2 stripped no ban lowers since your in the free state of ND (Im half kidding but its a thought...) I'd probably be interested in a trade if it wasnt something that had to go through FFL. |

My DPMS 20" upper arrived yesterday so I installed it, and a KAC m5 that I had previously purchased on the EE. Now I'm just waiting for my Colt carry handle that I also purchased here on the EE so I can shoot this thing.

After I did a little reading on just how strict it is in some of the ban states I decided to trade the BM lower. I have just taken for granted the gun laws here in ND and preban doesn't really mean squat to me.
As of tommorow the lower is headed to the East coast still in the unfired condition that I recieved it. So in the end I did the right thing |

That was very generous and the right thing to do. |

Yep, I can't believe what a great bunch of people belong to AR15.com. Outlaws RAOK buying me a gift membership completely blew me away and I owe him big time. I have bought a bunch of stuff on the Equipment Exchange from the people here and every deal has been great.

| Should have made your boss give you the shirt off his back and first born to show that he was really a nice guy. Getting a bonus like that always makes your urnial scrubbing at Mcdonalds on saturday night go a little better. By the way your insurance went up $100 a week. |

Update:
The Bushmaster lower assembly that 359 so generously traded to me came home from my dealer last night. As he posted the lower is absolutly new & unfired. I know he will give my former Noveske lower a happy home & build her up as I could not legally do in CT & his old Bushmaster will either be sporting a new BCM M4 or my custom Larue/DD/WOA 6.8spc upper. Built up just the way the gun hatters don't want!
Just awaiting a sitrep from 359 when his Noveske arives. |

to the op. Are you sure it was an xm15e2S. Jim Eden at Bushmaster wrote to me explaining that the "S" is only on rifles made after the "sunset" of the awb. Anything pre 95 would just be an xm15e2. The SN was confirmed w/Bushmaster as being manufactured prior to the 94 ban |
