| Some one make a modification in a lower to acept AK magazines, for example 5,45. |

Quoted: I´m want modify the lower to acept standard AK magazines, not use AR 7,62 x 39 mags. They make what you want... It's the KAC SR-47! http://quarterbore.com/kac/sr47.html Given your posts, I am sure you have NO IDEA what this will cost you, but this is just what you want! I couldn't find a current cost and I am not sure it's even available to the non-military type. If it is, the price will likely be $2000 plus... and perhaps much PLUS of that! Hell, even then, you will need to rebarrel as this is 7.62x39! In the Article that I have posted, Dave Lutz (Coldblue of this forum) has said that there is (was) no 5.45 version and there was no imediate plans to make one... If it does happen it will be an SR-74! Also note, that an AR-15 lower will not work with AK mags. The best you can likely do is work to convert a larger AR-10 or SR-25 lower to use the AK mags but one really has to ask the question.... WHY DO IT? If you can go the route suggested above and just change the bolt, barrel, and mags.... Let us know if you decide to start your own company and make something like these but I still doubt I would want one as I see no advantage above a AR-15 in 223, 7.62x39, or 300 Whisper! |
