| Just picked up a stripped SW MP15 lower for $160.00 and plan to use it for an upcoming 9mm SBR build. How do you tell if its forged? Curious what you guys think of the quality of the MP15 lowers. |

It is a forged lower and is no more high or low quality than any other - except for the rollmark if that's important to you. Most of the lowers manufactured these days are forged, with the exception of some makers doing billet lowers. I haven't seen a cast lower in a while.
