I am looking for a lower for a Mark 12 mod 1 my question is a KAC worth $250 more than a Rock River with a National Match trigger they both have the same stock.

If you've got extra cash to blow, I suppose the KAC is worth it. For my money though, I wouldn't pay the extra $250 on just a lower. RRA should be fine once you stake your castle nut. If you have money to just blow around though, the KAC is very very nice.

It also depends on if you want all the features of the KAC lower. If you install an ASAP, BAD, and ambi mag release on the RRA lower, you'll have just about the same amount of features for less than $150. At that point, it starts to look like a better deal to just get all the features built in with the KAC. However, if you don't want all of that (I don't use an ambi mag release), the RRA could be the way to go.

ETA: If it's only a $250 difference, you're either looking at an overpriced RRA or under priced KAC, so take that in to consideration when you decide to buy.

The only correct answer is this.  It is your hard earned money, the only one that can decide if the upgrade is worth the extra coin is you. It shouldn't matter what I would do or the guy down the road. What is perfect for one, may be totally wrong for the next guy. The best advice is read all you can  regarding the components and decide for yourself if it is worth it. I don't mean to sound like a smart azz, I really am telling you  the  truth. Not just about triggers and firearms but life in general. Good luck and don't forget we need pics when you get it together.
