I plan on buying a del-ton 16" kit and attaching it to a stripped lower I purchase. I'm trying to decide which lower I want to get. What lowers did you use with your del-ton uppers and did they match up well? Some lowers I've seen are different colors/darknesses and I'd like my lower/upper to match. What matches del-ton? Also, are there any lowers that I need to stay away from? Thanks. |
For the money Essential Arms lowers are the shit. I think O paid $80 a piece for them. Just make sure you get the "tough-coat". I also bought a Del-Ton rifle kit(mid-length) and thought the fit was superb! the color matches perfectly,but the finishes are just slightly different. I started this project trying to build the cheapest rifle I could and am pleasantly surprised with my results. If this piece shoots as well as I think it will I will buy my nephew the Lightweight "16(after all I have a few extra lowers 'cause EA makes them so affordable!)
