Rustoleum makes a color called "gray anodized" found it at my local home depot. it's dead on color wise for light gray parkerizing.. but the gloss is off (it's really shiney).. so i knock it down with some 0000 steel wool..
i warm up the part first to remove moisture, spay it on.. let it tack up a couple mins an then bake it at 175/200 degrees for 20 mins.. let it cool down in the oven slowly.. it's dang near bullet proof.. rusto also makes another color (i can't remember then name right off) but it's a darker gray with a bronze tint to it.. looks great also... ive done 3 rifles 2 A1's in the gray anodize and a A2 in that darker gray bronze tint.. they look great... hope this helps.. Pete Never seen the one named anodized, but I'd hate it to look any better than the primer. |
