.45 ACP FTW. Why? It freaking kills Borg. .45 ACP > phasers > 9mm

yes it is. Why do you ask ? |

yes it is. Why do you ask ? It doesn't have a sear pin, and the area where the pivot pin is located is A1 profile. Also, the areas where the fire and safe markings are located aren't raised, which I know Colt is known for. |

If it's a Colt, it's a copy of an original ArmaLite.
I am not LARRYG36. Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting. If your AR10 is marked Geneseo, IL, it's still an AR10 no matter what some people say. |

This thread makes me wish I hadn't sold my KAC rails.

That is true, however...
1) there is no serial # on KA RASs, so you can't trace them or find out if they are stolen or not unlike an ACOG or something... 2)I believe mine is a factory blemish as it came sealed with a KA sticker but looked like the finish was worn on the tippy tip edges of the rails. Knights website offers factory seconds (blemishes) for about 1/2 price than 100% gtg ones and I dont see any reason to spend the extra $$$ when 1 week of messing around with it wears the finish a little bit. Having said that, I would offer anyone to anyone looking for a Knights RAS to look on ebay...seriously, I paid $150 plus shipping for mine, the rails, and 4 mid length panels, 1 week later then same thing with 4 of each length of panels went for $90....and I thought I got a deal |

Thousands of brand new to hardly used KAC rails hit the surplus market in early 2008. I picked up 12 sets (rails with covers and grips) for under $300 from one auction. Only one set was used. They even threw in a good size box of mostly unused covers and grips. There will be even more coming soon when 45B school gets moved from Knox to Benning as I am told much will be auctioned rather than moved. You are going to see all sorts of stuff auctioned relatively soon.

If one ever gets turned in for any problem it either goes in the trash or gets sent to the DRMO to get sold to the public... |

I think Wes at MSTN used to say a quarter and a set of vice grips.
Anyone do anything to mitigate the fore and aft movement, if any? |

Also have Sabre Defence started shipping rifles as per there contract or are they still to be approved by Government Inspectors. |
