I have an old M203 shell casing that I would like someone to identify. And to tell me what it might be worth. It is only the case with no round. It has had the primer drilled out of the bottom.On the bottom it reads;
"RNO-1-179  8-63 40MM M118"

Not much. You can get all types of 40mm ammo to use in your registered M203 except for HE which requires its own ATF destructive device permit.

Worth? About .50 cents.

Probably not worth anything but it's cool to have as a novelty item. M118 is a smoke grenade. I had a few live green smoke and white star parachute signal and spotting rounds that I gave away to a guy who could use them, they were probably worth around $20 each if I wanted to sell them.
