If you have ever been a SAW gunner and used the M145 MGO optic. You know it sucks. This is where my question comes into play. Does anyone know if an aimpoint (M2 to M4) will hold its zero on a SAW? I would rather use a red dot instead of the MGO. Any input would be great. And if not does anyone know a optic I could use instead. I was thinking about a ACOG TA11E.

Yes. (Answer to your question)

The Elcan when your in a defensive position is cool, but shooting on the move, man that sucks.  Personally I think the Eotech is the perfect optic for the SAW, but an Aimpoint would work fine too.

If you use an aimpoint, I would recommend a Larue mount, that way you could quickly remove it to use the irons, or place the Elcan back on it.

As for the eotech, I would recommend the GG&G accucam, since you wouldn't want to rise it even higher.

Go with the EOTech for the SAW.. The 65Mil Aiming circle zeroed at 100 meters will put your cone of fire within that circle and be wicked fast .
