Okay, bear with me as I'm a little slow.
What are the advantages of the Aimpoint M4 scope over the M3 scope besides ~50% better battery life and the ability to use AA batteries instead of the 1/3N batteries? |

1) The M4 comes w/a decent QD mount w/removable riser.
2) The rotary switch on the M4 is stronger & more rugged. 3) The M4 comes w/an ARD killflash (if that's important to you). 4) Windage/elevation caps on the M4 are stronger/more protective. I'd take the M4 in a heartbeat (YMMV). Tomac |

Have both, prefer the M4. Other than the differences already mentioned I'd add that it's impossible for the M4 to rotate in it's mount like the M3 could. Although that's not likely if properly installed, but it also makes the M4 a whole lot easier to setup in new mounts.
The only plus of the M3 over the M4 would be you can flip it 90 degrees counter-clockwise to make it a lefty. |
