Comparison between a M4A1 with 14.5" bbl and suppressor compared next to a British 1856 .577 Calvary Carbine that was used by both sides during the War Between States. Swinging arm on ram rod was to prevent loss while on horseback. There is a saddle ring on left side of stock which attaches to a hook on slung belt over shoulder. Therefore single points slings are not NEW!

Just finished my build, Block 1, and sighted it in last week. Now I just need to get a sling. Which sling would be more correct the Vickers VCAS-125 or VCAS-125-AA standard issue with buckle?

I prefer the N1 stock over the Waffle stock. Had it on my XM177E1 back in 87' and my first M4A1 in early 95'.

CD View Quote I recently got my first factory new rifle in a long time (been building all of them for several years) and it came with the waffle stock, and I was shocked at how much I like it! Threw me for a loop. The angle of the butt really seats well, and it works great with armor. |
