I just ordered one about 20 mins ago. |

I had one and sold it, it really is the best MRDS/Docter mount available.

I was able to score a BCM upper with DD 12" Lite rail. how bad would I be looked down on if I use that for a base to build a Block II with? I just couldn't find a RIS II that was in the price range I wanted to spend. I know the Lite rail has an extra bolt on the mounting ring but what else is different between the 2?

I couldn't pass up the trade I got for the upper so it will just be its own build and not a block 2 type that I was planning. Thanks for the info. |

I thought the FSP might be more noticeable, but it doesn't interfere and is pretty clear. It does faintly pick up the FSP, but it's not enough to cause any issues. YMMV. I'm really liking the GDI mount. I'm glad I got it a couple of weeks back when they were on sale for $40. |
