What is this threaded hole for in my MATECH BUIS?

| Lock screw??? it would hit the rail but not really praticle as would bend the bracket on the opposite. Perhaps they were going to make a flexable plastic dust cover and attach it with a screw? It could also be an attachment for a certin process used in manufacturing? |
