I don't see a lot of love for the magpul BUIS. Why is that? Is it just the Glock tupperware mentality? or are there some issues with them?

I like mine quite well and use it on an NFA with lots of recoil energy. No issues.

People just dont like that they are polymer. I have friends who used to have mbus but now run troys, and they all say it's because troys are metal that's why they like them better. I have shot with both at 200 yard gongs and see no difference.

aren't they longer that most sights too? maybe using an ACOG on top may pose eye relief problems

I have a mbuis and a matech sight. I loved the matech for awhile then switched back the the mbuis.
