Just got my ArmaLite M15A4(T) and I like it so much I am starting to contemplate my first build for next year. I want to try to build my own precision rig rather than buy another. I hear Mega is good; are they (their receivers) good for a target rig? Can someone give me their website if they have one?

Thanks much, BrainShake

www.megamachineshop.com (it's been under construction for a while).

Look at the "lower thread" - nothing too earth shattering about them, but they are nice.  I built one with a Gieselle trigger and have been pleased.

They had some problems with a couple uppers a while back, but fixed the issue.

They are problem free now.  Many Mgs's have had bad batches (ie: out of spec, wrong color , etc...)  Mega is a great lower and you won't regret it.

Their lowers shouldn't have any good or ill effects for a precision build vs. any other lower of different make. They won't hurt, but they sure are nice lowers. Good luck finding one though. They don't stay on the shelves long.

I recently purchased one for a 9mm build.  Good quality, I am happy with it.  Took a Hahn Precision dedicated mag block nice and tight--installed a lpk without incident.  Haven't been able to assemble the upper and testfire yet as I am still waiting on my Form 1...

As good or better than my RRA, Noveske, and Tom Sawyer lower.  Not as nice as my POF lower, but then again, it only cost 1/2 as much...

Rainier, Carricoz Armory are the best places for MEGAs

If you're in a hurry,  check out Sun Devil at Rainiers, best price I know of for billet lower...I built on a mega lower I got from Coleman Tyler and their advertising a large shipment soon.....they are both quality lowers in my experience...

FYI, there are a couple of Mega lowers on Gunbroker. One is only $129 or so. They have the "Mega Machine Shop" text above the selector, but the big atom logo has been replaced by a gunshop name. Guess Mega did a small run for some shops.

Photo op! Love my Megas!

Thanks, but I'll wait for the fully branded Mega lower.  The logo kind of goes with my academic area.

I could not find a flaw on my Mega lower. It was pretty much perfect. I got mine from Cold War Shooters. I have not seen them in stock elsewhere.

I got my Mega lower with a matched Mega upper from Cold War Shooters. Great service! One of the nicest lowers I've seen.

Have 2 Megga lowers as well as the matching uppers. Fit and finnish are great.

Have bought from CWS and they are good people to deal with.

Just got off the phone with a shop here in AZ they are getting a "Load" of MEGA's at the end of this week.
Found them from their website; colemantyler.com where their list for a stripped MEGA was under $115.!
