All,

I am new to the AR15 but, I want to put together (not build) a AR15 from a complete MGI lower and probably one of their uppers, once I figure out what it's all about.  I want a left handed, 7.62 x 39 upper.  I guess what I need to find out is, if I can order a complete upper or do I need to piece it together.  If I am piecing it together, do I have to worry about headspacing on the CQB upper and what "pieces" will I need?

Thanks,

Dave

You were on UZItalk weren't ya, hehe. But I would contact TWL here, he deals with MGI stuff. Here is what you will need though: MGI complete lower, AK magwel, AK mags, ammo, MGI upper, barrel with gas block and gas tube and flash hider, bolt and carrier assembly, charging handle, sights, and anything else you might want. No need to worry about headspacing issues, just make sure you lock the barrel in all the way.

Yes Gundisaster, been on Uzitalk for awhile, seen you there as well (I try to keep the same name, I'm also on ktog, which is [email protected] moved from ktog.org (Kel-Tec owners group)) and was corrupted into getting one of these EBRs.

BTW, your answer is perfect, because I did not know everything in the upper I needed.  I've already ordered the lower, so now I just need to get the rest of the parts.  This should be fun.

Thanks,

Dave
