I did a search and didn't come up with what I was looking for.  I ordered a MIAD grip for one of my AR's and was expecting a little better directions.  Can anyone give me a link to some better directions for the removal /installation.  I checked the Magpul site and couldn't find anything detailed either.  Thanks.

What exactly are you having a problem with? Insert desired front and backstrap, place safety selector detent and spring, screw into reciever.

Look up into your old A2 pistol grip, you should see a hex screw, remove the screw but be sure not to lose the small spring. Slide the MIAD together and install.

You also have to pin one of the straps in place.  I forgot if it's the front or rear.

I used a Channel-Lock pliers for this operation with a rag over the jaws so as not to mar the plastic grip.

If you have the winter trigger guard on yours, you will need to attach that to teh llower receiver.  I think it uses a spring loaded plunger but it might be another push pin.

There are lots of little details.  Be careful.  Ask questions here.

The pin is optional. I wouldn't put it in if you think you are going to change out the back strap.

I made the link hot.  If there is information missing out of the thread, or something that would be of help to others, feel free to let me know.
