I just finished installing an MIAD on my rifle, but I can't help but feel that I've done something wrong.  I've removed the triggerguard and used the bowed one that comes with the grip, but what to I use to secure it to the roll-pin slot just behind the mag well?  There is a weird screw-like pin that fits in the hole, but it won't stay as there is no threading.  Do I loc-tite this piece in this hole?  Thanks for any help.

Screw it in there, it will self-thread into the plastic.  No need to loctite.  Just get it down flush with the surface or slightly below.

You are correct. The small set screw installs in the front hole of the trigger guard. It screws in place. I did not use loc-tite on mine.

There is also a metal roll pin that you may use to secure the backstrap in place. You gently tap it in with a hammer or other similar object.

I have a Miad on my working guns. But I choose to use the stand alone version of the MagPul trigger guards. They install the same way, with a roll pin in back and the small set screw up front.
