So I got a LMT SOPMOD stock off a friend. Tonight I thought Id put it on my M4. Unfortunately it was a nonfit. Now this particular buffer tube came from cheaperthandirt. I thought it was milspec. Are these stocks a real tight fit or is this a non milspec buffer tube.      any expierence?

CTD lists their stock as a Tapco unit.  It's got a commercial sized tube.

If it's leapers, then it's not mil-spec.

Just remove and replace your commercial buffer tube with a made in USA CMT/ Stag Arms, LMT, Vltor or equivalent Milspec size tube.

Check out the Equipment Exchange if you want to buy one, I bought my Vltor tube from one of the industry partner dealer there.

There are many AR manufacturers that are using commercial size buffer tubes.

And while you're at it, get a made in USA buffer and spring. Last time I  looked at a Chink buffer (which admittedly was a few years back) it was filled w/lead shot, and they haven't yet learned haow to make a spring that will hold up.

And adopt as a mantra for your life; "I will never buy anything marked Leapers"
