I am wondering what people think of this? I’m thinking of adding it to my ar. How hard is it to remove the front sight from an AR and reinstall it?

Removing the front sight from a barrel is going to greatly vary rifle to rifle.  Some pins will punch out with ease, some will seem like they were installed by the hand of God.

Lay the barrel down, muzzle pointed to YOUR left, and punch the pins out.  To put them back in, when you're ready, lay the barrel down on the table facing the opposite direction this time (YOUR right), as most FSB pins are tapered (not all, but most).

Taking off barrel nuts will also vary rifle to rifle.  Most newer rifles will come off with a reasonable amount of torque.  Some will require a lot more force/penetrating oil/heat/prayers & sacrifices/etc.

And MI makes decent stuff.  The shape is very similar to a YHM free float (also 1 piece rail).  For the money, I'd go with YHM over the MI, since both companies rails are well made for the money.

I have a MI 10" on my rifle. The front sight was a bit hard to get off, but not impossible by any means. My barrel nut was about the same deal. All told I think it took me about an hour or so to finish the job. I didn't reinstall the front sight though, I went with a low profile gas block instead that had set screws to hold it in.

Make sure you buy their wrench to tighten it down though, I didn't and that was a real ass pain for me.
