| is there a standard issue light for the MK18? i know it is a surefire 961 seiries but what tailcap is most prevalent would the xm switch be kosher? i have looked through the mk18 thread but there is almost 100 pages now, and alot of dead stuff. |

The closest to "standard" from Crane for the Mk 18 Mod 0 usually comes with an M962 with click cap, and ARMS mount, and Gen II style bezels, extensions, and bodies, it's the one in the most photos I've seen, and more specifically, on the example photo in the user's manual.
For NAVSPECWAR Mk 18's and CQBRs, it runs the gamut, and you're foolish to ask for a "standard." Even the VBSS Crane Mk 18s vary. HTH, ~Augee |
