Exactly. My Butler Creek flip cap was less than $10

I do like the FDE cover but not for $50. I'm still waiting to see what TD comes out with.

The entire cover with clear lens caps is less than the flip up objective cover.

Seeing that FDE cover kind of makes me want an MRO now. Geez, I already have more optics than carbines though. I'm sure I'll come up with an excuse by tomorrow though to scoop one up. Gotta see what all the fuss is about.
