Does anyone know what rail length the CQB corresponds to, like a 6", 9", etc?  I was noticing that the MRP CQB has an 18" barrel offering, but it seems like that would look very strange on a carbine-length rail.  Anyone know a little more about this setup, or better yet, have pics?

I'd have to measure my CQB to know for sure, but I would have to guess approx. 9". The rail completely covers a carbine length gas block but doesn't quite cover a midlength gas block. For pics, you can check out the MRP badness tack at the top of this thread.

The CQB is approx 9".  I also want to get an 18" barrel for mine, but haven't found a pic of anyone who's done it.  Proportionally, an 18" barrel sticking out of a 9" rail should look about like a 16" sticking out of a 7" carbine rail.  A little long, but not too bad.

Go to the LaRue site, click on the stealth uppers and there is a pic of all different barrel/rail combos.  There is one of an 18" barrel in a 10" rail and it doesn't look too bad at all.
