I did a search and couldn't find a topic on this so I thought I would ask. Is a rifle length MRP a carbine,midlength or a rifle length gas system?

Depends on the barrel.

The MRP is not gas specific. The barrel is...

16" and 18" barrels are midlength
10.5" and 14.5" barrels are carbine length.

thanks Redhook, I am being offered a MRP with a 16" barrel as a trade. I wanted to get a midlength system. I have never shot one before.
