I've got an MS2 sling hooked up to the magpul side hookup (can't remember name, fits on railed handguards nice little hookup) and my rear attach point is one of those buttplates with hook on points.

Question is, do your MS2's scratch the hell out of your guards and parts of the receiver where the hooks rotate and rub during the course of normal use?

Yes.  Guns get scratched up when used as intended.

I guess I should have put in a disclaimer knowing someone would assume something bad...

I don't care about it getting scratched up, its my ranch rifle, just curious if others experience the same thing with their sling all in one place...no safe queens here

It scratched my old rail quite a bit (was a YHM rail) but it doesn't seam like it is going to scratch my new rail much. I did just put it on so only time will tell but I don't really care either way. (new rail is a DD omega X)
