I don't have one, but my brother loves his. The ability to lock-back and release the bolt without removing the firing hand seems great. Cons? Any of my concerns have been laid to rest by testimony from those who run them. It does seem like a useful addition. Might just have to pick one up to test it out. I can always sell it if I don't like it I suppose. |

Is it a worth while upgrade for the cost? What are the pros, what are the cons? Search feature, been talked about a lot. Yes and yes. Could encounter issues with a slightly out of spec lower, or out of spec bolt catch. Other than that (that I know of) I love em. Makes running the gun (is that too tacticool a phrase?) soooooo more convenient, fast, efficient, and easy/fast. |

For me, the BAD lever is great!! As long as you install it correctly, due to it has some play in it before you tighten it down. You want it as far away as it can allowing be from the curve of the trigger well. That way it will allow maximum leverage Of the bolt catch when locking the bolt to the rear. Its an awesome addition for me at least. I do alot of training and I run my rifles hard. I've never had any issues with a BAD lever. I'll warn you that it gets you spoiled though. Reloads are sooo much faster. I have a BAD lever on all 4 of my rifles. Just get one and try it out. Everyone is different. See if it works for you. |

Just put one on mine...love it but now during firing it doesnt always lock my bolt back on last shots.. How do I fix this? I've read that in some cases your bolt runs too fast for it to catch on the bolt stop with the extra weight of the BAD lever slowing the stop down. In one case it was fixed by adding a heavier recoil spring to slow the bolt carrier travel down. |
