hello friends,
i tried to install magpul picatinny-rail cover ladders on a MI easy install two piece handguard, but this is a really tough job.
is it quite normal, that you have to use mere force to install the ladders?
is there a trick installing the ladders?

Most rail cover are a bit difficult to install.

I fold them a little bit length wise and put them into position, then release one edge at a time

The trick is to use the older design ladders.  They are soft and flexible.  The new ones suck and are not worth owning. Way to hard and stiff. Buy Surefire ladders... they are at least still soft enough to put on.

Surefire ladders are great.  Unfortunately it seems that most people don't know about them.  And the price is great when compared to MAGPUL.

Three (3) Black Surefire Ladders for $15.00

compared to

One (1) MAGPUL ladder for $11.95
