Does anyone know if these polymer rail sections fit the VTAC XTR handguards?  Anyone got any pics?

VTAC/TRX Extreme? Doubtful but I've never tried it despite owning both an Extreme rail and a few MOE guards with rail sections.

Yes, VTAC TRX Extreme. I'm looking to save some weight over the aluminum rails that ship with it.

And just how much weight, even in your most wild fevered dreams, do you think you'll save by doing so?

Combined? Probably a few ounces out front.

No offense, but I don't think you'll save all that much. What are you planning on your handguard with how many rail sections?

If you want to save weight out front you'd be better off using a lighter vfg, light, sling attachment etc. Or grind down the included rail pieces to get rid of the rails that you're not using and refinish them like many guys have done with the QD socket section.

No offense taken and appreciate the input. I think I'm going to find some of those polymer rails and see if they'll fit vs. modding the included rails.

You may be better off with the Ergo/Falcon polymer rails since they're universals.

They are cheap enough to try...
